Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DMBud, a service that connects to your Instagram Business or Creator account and your Shopify or WooCommerce store to automatically reply to comments containing keywords you configure. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

The service

DMBud watches comments on your connected Instagram account for keywords you define, looks up a matching product in your connected store by the SKU found in the post caption, and sends a comment reply plus a private DM to the commenter with product details — using message templates you write. You control the keywords, the SKU pattern, the templates, and whether the automation is live or running in test mode (log-only).

Your responsibilities

• You must have the right to connect the Instagram account and store you connect — only connect accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
• You're responsible for the content of the reply/DM templates you configure, and for complying with Meta's Platform Terms and Instagram's Community Guidelines.
• DMBud only ever replies to someone who has first commented on your post — you may not use it, or attempt to use it, to send unsolicited or bulk messages outside that trigger.
• Keep your account credentials confidential; you're responsible for activity under your account.

Plans and limits

Your plan determines limits such as the number of connected Instagram accounts and the number of automated messages per month. We'll notify you in-app if you're approaching a limit.

Service availability

DMBud depends on Meta's Instagram Graph API and your store's API being available and behaving as documented. We aren't responsible for outages, rate limits, or changes on those platforms that are outside our control.

Termination

You can disconnect your Instagram account or delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or misuse Meta's platform.

Disclaimer and liability

DMBud is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including messages sent by the automation you configured.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; we'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
